Historically significant extreme weather fueled by climate change is bringing sudden, short-duration, heavy rainfall to cities across the country. This panel will explore solutions to mitigate these “Cloudburst” events using examples of both upgraded and new critical infrastructure being implemented. The discussion focuses on stormwater management planning, design, construction, and operations/maintenance, as well as the opportunities for integrating green infrastructure, public realm amenities, and sustainable practices.

* Engineering PDHs are pending for this session
