A major barrier to the community uptake of renewable energy sources comes from widely spread, fossil fuel-backed misinformation. Coalitions are now being formed to begin to combat these narratives. This panel explores the roots of this misinformation and how multiple coalitions of academics, civic organizations, and individuals are doing their part to move communities to a just energy transition.
